Summer Camps are offered every Wednesday from:
11:30a.m. to 1:00p.m. & 5:30p.m. to 7:00p.m.
Every week. Same place. Same time. Same price.
Every week we will work with a variety of wet clay, modeling clay, bisqueware and glazes to create up to 2 projects! Register early as camps fill up quickly!!

Camps are $29.00 per camp. This includes 1 1/2 hours of instruction and all materials. You may pick and choose which camp(s) you would like for your child(ren) to attend.

This allows your child to participate in all of our camps. At the end of summer we will hold an Art Show for the children that participate in camp! This will be held the week of August 29th during the Pataskala Street Fair!
Parents who would like to register multiple kids for the whole summer, first child is full price, and each additional child after that receives 10% OFF!

June 1st - Let's Soar Together this Summer!
During this adorable bird themed camp each child will get to paint a ceramic birdhouse, as well as, make a fun, whimsical bird out of Potter's Clay! The ceramic birdhouses are fully functional and will look beautiful hanging from a tree outside. Your child will get to paint these however they desire with help from our instructor. Next, each child will be guided through instructions on how to make whimsical Pinch Pot Birds! Children will learn a variety of techniques in this camp that include, painting techniques, Pinch Pot techniques and design skills! This is the perfect way for your child to start the summer off with these fun Nature projects!
June 8th - Under the Sea
Children will love to make a SPLASH with this fun Art Camp! This Sea Themed camp is all about the ocean! Children will get to paint a sea themed Ceramic Canvas. We will start by blowing bubbles of glaze on our canvases. Children will love watching their artwork come to life! We will get to make fish from our handprints and other fun sea creatures. Next, children will get to work with Potters Clay to make ceramic fish! Join us as we deep sea dive into ART!
June 15th - Fairy Garden Camp
This camp is sure to be enchanted! Every child will get to paint a magical Fairy House! These houses are full of fun detail and your child will love painting these and watching them come to life! Next, children will get to use Sculpey Clay to make SNAILS and TOADSTOOLS! Lots of clay building techniques and painting techniques will be offered during this camp.
June 22nd - Red, White & Kaboom!
We will be focusing on glazing technique at this camp. All children will get to work with Jungle Gem glazes to make a special ceramic platter for the 4th of July! The platter will include Red, White & Kaboom stripes, as well as, the childs handprint. Children will also be guided through the steps of making Pinch Pots!
June 29th - Cactus Sculpture Camp
Inspired by the Arizona Sunset children will learn ombre and blending techniques, as well as, basic acrylic painting technique, while creating this beautiful 10x10 canvas. Next, children get to create cactuses out of Sculpey Clay using clay building skills and design techniques. Remember acrylic paints do stain clothing. We provide aprons but please dress appropriately should mishaps occur.
July 6th - Take a bite out of Summer Shark Camp!
This camp is perfect for your little painter! First, we will create a fun shark themed Canvas Painting. Children will get to work on acrylic painting techniques. Next, they get to paint ceramic sharks! This camp is sure to be fun for your adventourous boy or girl! Remember acrylic paints do stain clothing. We provide aprons but please dress appropriately should mishaps occur.
July 13th - Christmas in JULY!
We're going to bring a little Christmas Joy to this fun summer camp! Children will get to make a hand-painted ceramic Christmas Ornament. We will also make Santa Handprint Salt Dough ornaments! To bring in the Christmas joy children will get to listen to Christmas music and ice Christmas cookies!
July 20th - Impression Camp
This camp is sure to make an impression on your child with all of the creative things we're going to make! This camp offers a lesson in Textures with clay! A variety of textured pieces will be layered together to create beautiful flowers! Next, children will get to make impression tiles with their handprints!
July 27th - Dinosaur Camp
At this camp, every child will get a ceramic dinosaur to paint! Kids LOVE dinosaurs and these ceramic DINOS are SO COOL! Children will also get to make T-REX tooth necklaces! Children will get to use handbuilding techniques to shape their very own T-REX tooth!
August 3rd - Deep in the Rainforest!
For this camp we will go deep in the Rainforest to discover Rainforest Frogs! We will be painting our own ceramic wall frogs. Children will focus on colors and detail. Children will also get to make their very own rainforest SNAKE with polymer clay! This camp focus on basic painting techniques with glazes, as well as, clay handbuilding skills!
August 10th - Make-up Camp Session!
Join us on this day to complete projects and make-up camps that may have been missed! We'll alott this time to finish up all projects for the Art Show!
August 29th - Kidz Kamp Art Show! Monday, August 29th 4:00-9:00 pm
The best part of Summer Art Camp is the end of the summer Art Show that we hold for all of the children that participate! Each camp that children participate in, the child completes two projects per camp. One project will go home with the child the following week (after firing of the artwork has occurred), and one project will be selected for the Kidz Kamp Art Show! We want all of our little artists to feel like they participated in something over the summer and we want to showcase their awesome artwork! During the Art Show they will get to see their pieces displayed, invite family to come with them, and also get a chance to win ribbons and awards! Every child will receive a Participation Ribbon, and get a certificate each time their work is selected for the Art Show! Children also have a chance to win a BEST OF SHOW ribbon and MOST IMPROVED ARTIST ribbon! Also, TALENT RIBBONS in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
